A Few Kitchen Remodeling Tips

Now matter how much planning you do – double it. We spent more money and more time renovating then we ever thought possible. We had the best time remodeling our kitchen. The mess, the dust, the camaraderie that we were in this together. I’m serious, it brought us closer. Like when I forgot to turn off the water valve before removing the kitchen faucet, or when she ordered the wrong size refrigerator and we couldn’t get it into the house.

We did end up having a professional install the new tile floors, but most of it we did ourselves. It was well worth it too. We love our kitchen and our kids have great stories to tell their friends about what terrible do-it-yourselfers their parents are
