Faucet with temperature control

We have a kitchen faucet with a temperature control feature. It was chosen originally for the sake of the children who might have scalded themselves when unsupervised. Most parents know that accidents can’t be totally avoided but it is sensible to have safety features in the home.

In the last couple of months my mother in law has come to live with us and as she is over 80 and a little forgetful, we are really pleased that she can’t hurt herself with too hot water. She and the children can be protected by this simple feature which encourages independence in a safe way.
