Low Fat Spicy Broccoli RecipeThis recipe can go well with anything. My preference would be to serve it with chicken or fish because it will add some zest to the meal without having to do anything really special to your entree. Of course, if I'm really in the mood for a light meal, say dinner, this could probably stand on its own as well. I guess I'll leave that up to you! So here's how to make low fat spicy broccoli.... Ingredients- 1-1/2 teaspoons olive oil - 3 cups broccoli - 3 garlic cloves - 1/4-teaspoon red pepper flakes - 3/4 cup canned tomatoes Directions- Chop broccoli and garlic cloves. Crush canned tomatoes. - Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. - Saute broccoli, garlic, and red pepper flakes for 1 minute. Then add tomatoes. - Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 7-8 minutes. Nutritional Info per serving: - 50 calories If you've got 10 minutes, you can make this great dish. You can't ask for more than that. That's microwave speed, so make it fresh and don't rely on frozen versions of these dishes. You can do it!
