Metal Kitchen Cabinets - YUCK

Metal kitchen cabinets are such a throw back, and not in a good way. How much colder can a room feel than with metal? Why would anyone call home to a room, even a kitchen, that feels cold? Maybe it's just the country bumpkin in me. But, I like a nice and warm feel everywhere in my home.

I guess that means I'm not into contemporary or modern. I think it just leaves my out of the group of people that are so pompous that they're willing to live in agony just to impress people that get to go home to a nice, warm, comfortable home.

I like wood! I even like brick, especially if it's attached to a hearth with a wood burning fire in it. I guess I'm just venting because it's starting to get cold outside, and I'm looking forward to those cold winter days in my warm and inviting, soft and cozy, country-style kitchen.

I can't imagine spending time in a place that has hard metal chairs, even plastic, and that cold look of metal. If you can make it look warm, why not go with something the mind knows is warm. I don't understand why people are wired this way! I guess I'll just have to live with myself and my nice cozy kitchen.
