solid surface countertops look amazing
by Josh
These countertops look amazing. We've always had marble, but my wife and I made the switch to solid-surface due to the marble having becoming chipped and cracked from the occasional dropped pan or cooking utensil. We also wanted something more exotic and colorful to compliment our specific tastes. We found solid-surface counters to be a more vibrant than cold, hard marble, and more resilient than wood, especially when water was involved. They honestly look so great we can't wait to get them installed in the guest house. The one thing I'll have to get used to? Using pot-holders. I got accustomed to just setting hot dishes directly on the marble, and can't do that with solid-surface. For all their advantages, though, they're definitely worth it.
