The Pros of using a convection oven

What are the pros of using a convection oven in comparison to a non convection oven? Well, the whole process of how the food is cooked is different, different distribution of heat, different energy usage, whole different method. I know that all of us have burned something on the bottom and had the top not get done due to bad heat distrbution. It's not totally your fauld as a non convection oven has most of the heat at the bottom and the air and heat don't circulate. That is the point of the convection oven, to distribute the heat evenly, cooking at a faster rate with less energy. Sounds like a no brainer, huh? That is why alot of restaraunts only will use convection ovens, they are superior. It may take a little bit of adjustment if you have never used a convection oven before, you have to rethink your timing of items. But, once you have the hang of it, you will not go back. Evenly browned pies to wow your friends and family with, will become a staple at gatherings. Since they are available in a wide variety of colors and sized, there should be no problem to find one that fits your space and budget.
